CTFEG has announced the launch of the Education Hub project (The Hub) in Panyu, Guangzhou in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA). Opening in March 2024, the project, spanning 100,000 sqm, pioneers future ready K-12 (kindergarten through primary and secondary school) education.
Through its visionary “Kindervarsity” model, the Hub will shape K-12 education experience by bringing together a community of learners, educators, researchers and industry professionals for the future of education.
“Kinder”, from the word kindergarten, means children; and “varsity” means university. The Kindervarsity (“children” “university”) model applies the university framework, which comprises three core components – schools, research, and campus life, providing real-world experiences beyond the classroom that equip students to thrive in a future workplace.
The Education Hub creates a diverse and dynamic learning, teaching, and research community – to inspire, equip, and empower a new generation of learners. The Hub’s projects include Benenden Schools Guangzhou (“BSG”), research – the Future Education Research Institute, and campus life, which includes state-of-the-art facilities: the Performing Arts Centre, Innovation Centre and Sports Centre, boarding residential life, and much more.
“The establishment of the Education Hub in GBA is the most significant milestone of CTF Education Group (CTFEG),” said Jennifer Yu Cheng, Group President and Deputy Vice Chairwoman of CTFEG. “CTFEG is committed to making a positive impact through education.
