Over 400 families attended the Open Day hosted by DSC International School (DSC) on Saturday, 4 March 2023. The event welcomed all families and friends from across Hong Kong to join the DSC community for a morning of fun-filled activities, games and art exhibition. It was also an excellent opportunity for prospective families to immerse themselves in DSC’s multicultural friendly environment.

Enriched Experiential Learning Beyond the Classroom
During the Experiential Learning Week every year, DSC students are taken outside of their classroom to experience the world around them. In 2022, all students were committed to spreading the important message of ocean conservation and environmental protection. Hundreds of DSC secondary students visited six beaches in Hong Kong to clean them up, and some even went into deep water and they successfully removed 20 kg of debris such as old fishing line, plastic trash and glass bottles.
DSC students have been very hands-on in fundraising for many different charities throughout the year too. They collected and sold used clothing at the Call To Earth Day 2022 and donated all sales to Redress, an environmental charity organisation. DSC students also had high involvement in planning and execution of the Operational Santa Claus 2022 programme which was very successful and brought impactful learning experience for them to collaborate across all grades and achieve the fundraising goals.
